The Old Dairy is a newly converted detached barn conversion set is a peaceful rural location close to the village of Garrigill and Alston in the North Pennines. The location makes an ideal base for exploring Cumbria, Northumberland the Yorkshire Dales. The property lies within an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) with the famous Pennine Way running close by. The surrounding countryside is very pictureque and ideal for walking, mountain biking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and even golf.
The property is located close to Garrigill which has a pub and general store, plus England's highest martet town, Alston is just a short drive away. Alston is lovely historic town with a cobbled street, public houses, butchers, bakers and supermarket for groceries.
The Old Dairy sleeps 2 people and all of the accommodation is located on the ground floor. There is a double bedroom, a beautifully appointed bathroom with underfloor heating and large walk-in power shower and an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, washer/dryer and freezer. There is a private garden to the rear. The rental includes electricity, bed linen, towels, private parking, free WiFi, Sky TV, DVD player and cycle storage.
We do accept 1 well-behaved dog, plus a highchair and cot are available on request.
